Job summary

Harbinger seeks a Corporate Controller to own the end-to-end close, reporting, and controls, and to scale financial processes for a fast-growing EV maker. You will ensure US GAAP compliance, design robust reporting controls, and evolve the chart of accounts to accommodate new products and entities.

The role blends hands-on execution with leadership: you will build and mentor a team, partner with FP&A on variance analysis, and guide the ERP roadmap (NetSuite) and tax/compliance programs for a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required or in progress.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in both public and private sectors.
• Experience owning a month-end close process at scale.
• Experience designing and implementing financial reporting controls.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
• People management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close.
• Ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Design, implement, and enforce financial reporting controls.
• Maintain and evolve COA and P&L structures for new lines and entities.
• Lead ERP strategy (NetSuite) and spend-management tooling.
• Oversee income tax, sales/use tax, and audits.
• Provide business partnership with FP&A for variance analysis.
