Job summary

Temporal Technologies seeks a Staff Solutions Architect in the Western Time Zone to lead as the primary customer-facing technical leader within the Growth team, focusing on the Western region. You’ll guide prospects on Temporal’s platform suitability and showcase cloud service advantages to customer engineering teams, owning critical technical relationships with decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Reside within the Western Time Zone; San Francisco and Denver preferred.
• Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
• Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using Temporal-supported languages.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal’s platform well.
• Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
• Position Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
• Foster an environment within customer engineering organizations to increase the adoption and expansion of Temporal in production environments.
• Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
• Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers at customer organizations to ensure they fully leverage Temporal’s capabilities.
