Job summary

RJ Young Company is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate new sales opportunities within an assigned territory and to partner with Account Executives to build pipeline and schedule qualified meetings.

The SDR will work toward meeting activity targets, learn RJ Young’s five-step sales process, and develop product knowledge across services such as Managed Print, Wide Format, High Volume, and Software & Professional Services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and qualify potential customers through outbound prospecting (email, social media, cold calls, etc…).
• Respond to inbound leads.
• Schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives and Sales Managers.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily and monthly activity metrics.
• Follow established sales processes while continuously refining messaging and outreach strategies.
• Stay informed on product offerings in targeted industries.
