Job summary

Southern Company Gas in Atlanta is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to support Growth & Retention for Atlanta Gas Light and Chattanooga Gas Company. You will track program performance, prepare reports, and manage program processes while educating customers about natural gas benefits and converting to gas.

The role requires a BA/BS with 2–3 years of applicable experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities across teams in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 2-3 years applicable experience
• Or equivalent combination of academic education and experience
• Natural Gas industry experience with 2-3 years sales, construction, or GIS experience

Responsibilities

• Track and report on sales programs including response and conversion rates
• Prepare a variety of weekly and monthly reports to support the Growth & Retention team
• Perform monthly data quality verification checks on new and existing projects
• Responsible for in-house program management, including but not limited to, tracking applications, verifying status and eligibility, contacting customers, employees, builders, marketers, or contractors for more information, processing check payments, sending correspondence, tracking, reporting, and serving as point of contact for the program
