Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training in Tigard, OR. The role develops you across store operations, coaching teams, managing expenses, reducing losses, and merchandising to drive sales and profitability.

The program offers hands-on learning and opportunities to advance within the company, with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail or food service environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to coach and develop staff and manage customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, high-quality service and greet customers.
• Follow and enforce company policies and procedures with staff.
• Promote store specials and suggest additional purchases to customers.
• Ensure sanitation, food handling, storage and disposal procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of store interior and exterior areas.
• Minimize stockouts by restocking shelves, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Assist in training new employees and overseeing food service programs.
• Prepare deposits and assist in weekly supplier orders as needed.
• Respond to emergencies in absence of Store Manager and operate checkout equipment.
