Huck’s Market in Peoria is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily store operations and drive profitability. You will assist the Store Manager, cover shifts including peak hours, ensure customer service standards, and help with cash handling, security, and team leadership.

The role emphasizes flexibility, readiness for promotion, and adherence to company policies. Training opportunities and relocation options are available as openings arise.

Responsabilités

• General Management: Greet customers promptly and courteously; adhere to Best In Class standards.
• General Management: Observe shift hours and help fill shifts; work manager's days off and at least two evening shifts per week.
• Bookkeeping: Record hours, rings on the policy manual, handle over rings and refunds; complete daily paperwork and store deposits.
• Human Resources: Treat associates with dignity; notify manager of personnel issues impacting store performance.
• Security: Ensure shift procedures, safe environment, secure cash and merchandise, vendor check-in per policy.
• Merchandising: Keep coolers, shelves, and displays stocked and fronted; maintain equipment; ensure correct pricing.
• Maintenance: Maintain store appearance, floors, windows, and restrooms; report maintenance issues.
• Safety: Enforce lifting procedures, ladder safety, wet floor signs, and incident reporting.
• Huck’s Bucks Loyalty App: Promote app; explain benefits; monitor for misuse; assist customers with sign-up and use for discounts.
