Job summary

Huck’s Market is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee shift operations, ensure prompt and courteous customer service, and assist the Store Manager with daily management tasks. The role supports promotion to manager upon successful training and open opportunities as openings arise.

Candidates should be prepared to cover evening shifts, manage staff, and uphold company policies while maintaining store standards, merchandising, and safety during all duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise shifts and support store manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Greet customers promptly and maintain Best In Class standards.
• Cover store manager shifts and support peak-hour coverage.
• Maintain proper uniform and prompt service for customers.
• Record hours and assist with shift change reports.
• Support safety, maintenance, merchandising and loss-prevention tasks.
