Job summary

Seneca Agency is seeking a Sales & Growth Partner to help scale our outreach and client acquisition. You will work closely with the founder to identify opportunities, craft compelling messaging, and prep calls with startup founders, VCs, or executives.

The role is freelance (5–10 hours/week to start) with potential for a retainer and commission. NYC-based or willing to engage in live selling experiences (events, convos) is preferred, with a focus on building our sales process and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience selling services or creative strategy to startup founders, VCs, or execs.
• Willingness to work in ambiguity and help build the sales process, not just execute a pre-defined one.
• Ability to craft sharp, human outreach copy for cold outreach and referrals.
• Freelance arrangement with 5–10 hours per week to start and potential for retainer + commission.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new opportunities (warm leads, intros, communities).
• Craft messaging for cold outreach and referrals.
• Book and prep for sales calls with aligned clients.
• Refine our positioning and pitch as we scale.
• Help build outbound and inbound systems (newsletter, Substack, Notion CRM).
