Job summary

Canva in San Francisco is expanding its Growth Partnerships team to accelerate MAU and revenue growth across banks, fintechs, telcos and OEMs. You will own a broad portfolio, running a startup program and active deal making with partners across multiple verticals.

This is a fast-paced, generalist role where you’ll design programs, negotiate partnerships, host founder events, and lead cross-functional initiatives with product, marketing, legal, and finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in partnerships, business development, growth, or ecosystem roles within a startup or consumer/B2B tech environment.
• Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and experience with VCs, accelerators, and startup communities.
• Proven deal ownership with sourcing opportunities and driving distribution or strategic deals.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and other teams.
• Ability to build and run programs at scale with clear goals and defined cadence.

Responsibilities

• Run Canva for Startups end to end across the startup ecosystem, working with accelerators and VCs.
• Own the program mechanics from sign-up to activation, including tiered offers and onboarding.
• Track program performance across the lifecycle and use data to guide investments.
• Host founder events and workshops, representing Canva in the startup ecosystem.
• Source, structure, negotiate, and launch distribution partnerships across Banks & Fintechs, Telcos and OEMs.
• Own channel outcomes with targets and an operating cadence tied to MAU and revenue.
• Ship partner launches by working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Growth and Strategy teams.
