Job summary

Block in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Partner Development Lead to drive ecosystem partnerships for Afterpay, Cash App, and Square products. You will shape go-to-market strategy, align with cross-functional leaders, and manage partnerships that extend our payments and technology platforms globally.

You’ll partner with Afterpay, Cash App, and Square teams to resource a partner plan, negotiate deals, and scale programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business development or partner management experience, preferably in payments or fintech.
• Proven track record of managing commercial products and programs.
• Ability to build C-suite relationships and negotiate complex contracts.
• Cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, sales, finance, and legal.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• BS/BA required; MBA or Masters a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop overarching strategy to maximize commercial upside and product extensibility.
• Build relationships with partners at all levels to influence prioritization.
• Design scalable, multi-region partnership programs.
• Lead end-to-end partner negotiations for distribution of payments products.
• Drive integrations to maximize reach through partner ecosystems.
