Job summary

Arbors of Ohio in Milford is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to assess pre-admission needs and coordinate referrals and admissions for residents. You will collaborate with hospital discharge planners, social workers, physicians, and families to ensure smooth transitions.

You will also market the facility to expand referral sources, coordinate events with the Marketing team, and ensure compliant, timely authorization and reimbursement for services.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in admissions in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-admission patient clinical assessments.
• Routinely work with hospital discharge planners, social workers and physicians on admission processes.
• Market the facility to expand referral sources and market area.
• Plan and coordinate events to invite referral sources and collaborate with Marketing Directors.
• Coordinate with staff for prior authorization and managed care reimbursements.
