Job summary

Arbors at Milford is seeking a Director of Growth and Partnerships to lead admissions strategy and market outreach. You will partner with hospital discharge teams, physicians and social workers to optimize referrals and admissions, while building relationships with referral sources and the senior community.

The role includes coordinating marketing events, managing outreach programs, and ensuring smooth reimbursement processes with insurers.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in admissions in long-term care.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.
• Knowledge of state and federal requirements for accreditation and certification.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-admission patient assessments.
• Visit referrers routinely to promote the facility.
• Collaborate with hospital discharge planners, social workers and physicians on admissions.
• Visit existing patients in the hospital when appropriate.
• Create and distribute brochures and facility information.
• Market the facility to expand referral sources and area.
• Plan community outreach to healthcare professionals and groups to generate referrals.
• Coordinate events with Marketing Directors to invite referral sources.
• Plan special events to enhance staff, resident and community relations.
• Act as liaison for quarterly joint marketing functions.
• Conduct competitive analysis and update the market plan.
• Research and evaluate new healthcare programs and opportunities.
• Develop relationships with influential seniors and communities.
• Coordinate with facility staff on managed care reimbursements and timely communications with insurers.

• Periodically visit competition to complete competitive analysis and update market plan.
• Research, analyze and evaluate new healthcare programs and events, availability in designated areas and facility use potential.
• Develop additional relationships with influential people within the senior community.
• Coordinate with other facility staff the subsequent authorization of managed care reimbursed patients as required.
• Communicate with insurance personnel in a timely manner to ensure that adequate reimbursement can be obtained prior to initiation of services.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
