Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages food preparation for a specific area of the kitchen; ensures high-quality production.
• Maintains and follows cost controls and standardized recipes; uses food cost sheets and records.
• Monitors daily kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation program compliance.
• Directs daily food prep lists and assists in ordering food products.
• Trains staff in menu items and equipment use; develops ongoing training.
