Job summary

Burger King in Merrillville, IN seeks a motivated team member with supervisory potential to join our fast-paced restaurant. You will lead and train teammates, ensure quality, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, cost controls, and maintaining cleanliness and HACCP, while meeting daily numbers and guest service goals. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience required.
• Excellent guest service skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to resolve issues in compliance with Burger King standards.
• Ability to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts, and make hard decisions.
• Available to work all shifts; open, close, weekends and holidays.

• Reviews sales and scheduling to meet QSC targets.
• Ensures accurate daily numbers, cash handling, HACCP logs.
• Reviews inventory to guide orders and costs.
• Evaluates and implements cost controls.
• Monitors staffing and planning and adjusts as needed.
• Creates and monitors schedules and onboarding for new hires.
• Implements action plans addressing employee needs and Operational Assessments.
