Job summary

TitleMax in Columbus, GA seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations, develop the team, and provide exceptional customer service. You’ll manage staff, control store performance, implement local marketing, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

You will foster growth through coaching, training, and performance management while maintaining a welcoming store environment and strong community presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in supervisory/leadership role in retail/finance/service.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with POS systems and MS Office tools.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to pass background check and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store performance and meet/exceed standards.
• Coach and develop team, drive new business and revenue.
• Lead local marketing efforts and community events.
• Review loan/pawn applications and assess risk within limits.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and laws; support audits.
• Oversee cash handling, security, and loss prevention.
• Open/close procedures and train key staff.
• Participate in hiring and scheduling to meet store needs.
• Maintain store appearance, planograms, and marketing materials.
• Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism.
• Operate outside of office as needed for marketing and errands.
• Work a full-time schedule including weekends (min 40 hrs/wk).
