Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in an on-site warehouse role. You will lead a team of hourly associates, mentor them to meet safety, quality, attendance, and performance goals, and ensure the team has tools for success. Extensive training is provided to become a strong people leader.

Starting pay in multiple Missouri locations is listed at 70,000.00 USD annually. This is a full-time, entry-level leadership position within Amazon's Operations network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Must have all degree requirements met before the first day of employment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Lead and develop a warehouse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently in an autonomous warehouse setting.
• Oversee operations like deliveries, packaging, and PIT equipment as needed.
• Adapt to varying shift patterns including nights, weekends and holidays.
