Performance Foodservice seeks an energetic sales-oriented professional to grow independent account business in the Minnesota region. Focus on profitability through new sales and account penetration, promoting company-branded products and meeting brand sales objectives.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business by analyzing sales territory and customers; samples products with customers; plans general sales strategy and conducts effective presentations.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet established goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts by determining pricing; works with Credit for authorization; coordinates ordering and deliveries; follows up for delivery and satisfaction.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by coordinating with center personnel to prevent and resolve issues; may make deliveries in emergencies.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
