Hill International Trucks, a fast-growing heavy-duty truck dealer group in the Midwest, seeks an experienced accounting professional to grow into a key financial leader. Reporting to CFO and ownership, you will drive GAAP-compliant reporting, strengthen internal controls, and guide the organization’s financial health.

Based on East Liverpool, OH, this on-site role offers weekday schedule, strong growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401(k)

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of senior accounting or controller experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with inventory accounting and dealership operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Support month-end and year-end closes with reconciliations and accurate reporting.
• Monitor dealership financial performance across truck, parts, service, and leasing.
• Maintain inventory accounting for new and used trucks, parts, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Oversee internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses for management.
