Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a financial services company.
• Minimum of 5 years’ sales/new business development experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Engages in business development and solicitation of new business; participates in community affairs and public speaking; educates on bank products and services; follows up on changes in customer status; meets with customers to discuss needs and solutions.
• Solicit sales from new and existing clients through individual business development efforts and from referrals.
• Establish and maintain referral sources and strengthen relationships through regular calling and entertainment initiatives.
• Reinforces superior customer service with follow-through; conducts periodic meetings and presentations on this topic.
• Establish regular outside sales calling to attract new opportunities.
• Participate in community affairs to increase visibility and opportunities.
• Assist in audit compliance and quality control; recommend corrective actions.
• Learn the bank’s credit culture to present appropriate credits for approval.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements and implement changes as required.
• Model trust, cooperation, and dedication to the organization.
• Willingly perform other duties and projects as assigned.
