Job summary

OMalley Honda is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role requires performing warranty and non‑warranty inspections, maintaining strong service standards, and adhering to safety and process guidelines.

You will work closely with the Service Manager to meet production goals, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a clean, professional shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification required.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer concerns using available tools.
• Ensure courteous interaction with all customers.
• Greet customers in the Service Drive and assist as needed.
• Stay up to date with service communications and terminal operations.
• Deliver safe and high-quality vehicle service on first visit.
• Address original customer concerns before proposing additional work.
• Inspect vehicles for additional sales opportunities per recommendations.
• Return vehicles clean or cleaner than received.
• Participate in training programs offered by the factory or shop.
• Complete paperwork accurately and attach forms to RO copies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager or Group Leader.
• Be punctual, prepared to work, and wear a clean uniform.
