Job summary

Madison Honda is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, inspect, and repair a wide range of vehicles. You will use modern tools, maintain a strong customer focus, and help drive service goals set by the Service Manager.

Ideal candidates have warranty and non-warranty inspection experience, excellent communication, a valid driver's license, and ASE certification. Training and a professional environment with growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification required; technical/trade degree preferred.
• Experience with warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest tools.
• Ensure courteous interactions with all customers.
• Act as a secondary customer greeter near the Service Drive.
• Keep up to date with all technical publications and service communications.
• Ensure safe and high-quality vehicle service on first visit.
• Address original customer concerns before pursuing additional sales.
• Inspect vehicles for additional service opportunities per local and factory recommendations.
• Return customers' vehicles clean, or cleaner than arrival.
• Participate in factory or in-house training programs.
• Complete paperwork accurately and attach all forms to RO copies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager, ASM or Group Leader.
• Maintain punctuality and a clean uniform.
