Job summary

North Shore Honda is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in compliance with manufacturer standards. You will road test vehicles, document work, and communicate with customers while supporting a fast-paced service department.

The role requires automotive certification or enrollment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read repair orders and technical bulletins. Excellent teamwork and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Automotive certification or enrollment in an equivalent program.
• Red Seal is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems.
• Ability to read repair orders and technical bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per orders and guidelines.
• Road test vehicles before and after servicing for safety and accuracy.
• Track time with in/out punches at day start, lunch, and end.
• Inform Service Advisor if repairs need more time than estimated.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized workspace and protect interiors.
• Document services and repairs clearly in work orders.
• Follow warranty procedures and dealership policies.
• Demonstrate a professional, customer-focused attitude.
