Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a driven Service Advisor to greet customers, present and recommend service options, and generate accurate repair estimates. You will build rapport, explain maintenance needs, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include scheduling, answering calls, upselling services, and maintaining CSI. Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is heavily preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Face of service department and promotes repairs and services.
• Ability to generate complete and accurate repair estimates.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information.
• Actively promote and build rapport with the customer.
• Advise customers on care and value of maintaining vehicles per specs.
• Generate and provide customers with complete repair estimates.
• Establish and communicate completion times with customers and technicians.
• Answer incoming service calls and schedule service appointments.
• Follow prescribed post-service follow-up for repeat business and CSI.
• Comply with warranty guidelines and manufacturer procedures.
• Maintain honesty and protect customer, company, and manufacturer information.
• Manage in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Strong customer service, phone and computer skills; previous auto service advisor experience preferred.
