Job summary

ALDI USA in Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise day-to-day store activities, support the store leader, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

Starting wage is $25.00 per hour with a wage increase to $26.00 per hour in year 2. This full-time role averages about 38 hours per week and requires a minimum age of 18 and prior retail/management experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports to enhance performance.
• Communicates and models ALDI core values to foster teamwork and store morale.
• Oversees inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control to minimize losses.
