Community Choice Financial Family of Brands’ Check Into Cash in Appleton, WI is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support customers with real financial needs and to gain hands-on store leadership experience. The role emphasizes leadership development, risk management, and strong customer service.

You will drive account management, customer outreach, and day-to-day store operations while coaching staff and ensuring accurate POS transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required in accordance with law.
• Able to meet physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and process loan/pawn applications and check cashing.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build new business.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes with a focus on customer service.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching and development to Customer Service Representatives.
• Perform duties outside the office when applicable (on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands).
• Meet performance standards by leveraging partnerships and hosting in-store/community events.
• Maintain store security, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local/state/federal laws.
