Community Choice Financial Family of Brands in Lee’s Summit, MO is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support customers with financial services and to lead store operations. The role offers hands-on leadership development, real-time coaching, and exposure to multiple brands across the country.

The position requires at least 1 year in customer service, 3 months in a supervisory role, strong communication, and the ability to work a full-time in-person schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required by applicable law.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 25 pounds).
• Full-time, in-store position with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of transactions and process loan/pawn applications and related tasks.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build relationships.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes and collections.
• Maintain accurate customer information in the POS system.
• Coach and develop Customer Service Representatives when applicable.
• Occasionally perform duties outside the office, on-site or in-store.
• Meet performance standards through partnerships, referrals, and events.
• Maintain store appearance, security protocols, and brief audits.
• Ensure compliance with policies and applicable laws.
• Coordinate maintenance and scheduling; handle changing shifts and tasks.
• Support leadership and conduct additional tasks as directed.
• Maintain full-time in-person schedule, including weekends (minimum 40 hours/week).
