Trueline in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Specialty Construction to support commercial projects from bid through completion. This role develops estimating and project management skills while coordinating with customers and internal teams to keep projects moving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial construction projects from the initial bid through final completion.
• Review bid invitations, construction plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare estimating spreadsheets, material takeoffs, and pricing information.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize estimates, project details, and cost information.
• Learn construction estimating tools, including On-Screen Takeoff.
• Prepare and track project submittals, approvals, and related documentation.
• Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deadlines, and customer requirements.
• Communicate with general contractors, customers, suppliers, and internal installation teams.
• Maintain accurate project records and keep multiple assignments moving forward.
• Attend occasional jobsite meetings to support project coordination.
• Identify issues early, follow up on outstanding items, and help keep projects on track.
• Gradually take ownership of projects from estimating through completion as your skills develop.
