Job summary

You will prepare journal entries, reconcile ledgers, assist with AP/AR, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and audits while collaborating with experienced finance leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• One or more years of accounting experience preferred.
• Understanding of general accounting principles and the month-end close process.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Complete balance-sheet and general-ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support financial reporting and account analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Help prepare schedules and documentation for audits.
• Maintain fixed-asset and prepaid-expense schedules.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Partner with other departments to research and resolve accounting questions.
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities as the company grows.
