Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing, collaborative organization in the North Denver metro area. In this hybrid role, you will handle broad, hands-on accounting tasks across close cycles, journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue/lease accounting under ASC 606 and ASC 842.

You’ll contribute to audit support, improve internal controls, and help strengthen the accounting function as the company scales, with strong visibility and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong full-cycle accounting with month-end close.
• Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Experience in a smaller, growing organization preferred.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA or public accounting experience is a плюс but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation.
• Maintain revenue recognition schedules and record entries in accordance with ASC 606.
• Support lease accounting under ASC 842, including right-of-use assets and lease liabilities.
• Assist with payroll accruals and labor allocations; provide oversight across AP/AR.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for the annual audit.
• Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and other accounting initiatives.
