Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is seeking a part-time Member Services Representative to welcome members, promote memberships, give tours, and answer questions. You will greet members by name, scan IDs, and help with front desk tasks.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or GED is required; bilingual a plus but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is helpful; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Professional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Proactive approach to learning new information and using online/internal resources.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Bilingual a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Give quality tours to potential new members.
• Promoting and selling memberships as well as other YMCA programs.
• Being knowledgeable about program offerings and proactively looking up accurate information online or through internal systems when needed.
• Giving quality tours tailored to the interests of prospective members.
• Greeting members by name and scanning members in.
• Building relationships and helping retain members.
• Providing prompt, friendly, and professional service.
• Multitasking in a fast-paced environment while managing front desk responsibilities.
• Participating in paid trainings and team meetings.
• Performing light cleaning duties and helping with hospitality tasks.
• Supporting your team to create a positive and engaging environment.
