Job summary

Reputation.com, Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate Accountant to join our world-class Accounting team. You will support the month-end close, prepare reconciliations, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced tech environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of accounting experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a passion for continued education. This role offers opportunities to work cross-functionally and contribute to internal controls and audits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in corporate accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• High-tech/SaaS industry experience a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a high sense of urgency.
• A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts.
• Execute mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data verification, enabling senior staff to analyze options and make financial decisions aligned with company objectives.
• Assist with the ongoing automation of our operational processes and help drive the creation of standardized accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper expense allocation and coding.
• Process and record employee travel expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies. Work cross-functionally with different Accounting and Finance team members to standardize policies and assist in the creation of internal controls.
• Assist with external financial audits by providing supporting documentation and materials as requested for annual and interim periods.
• Continuously identify and develop solutions for process improvement.
• Additional duties as assigned.
