Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or in progress preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Perform detailed analysis of general ledger accounts and investigate variances
• Assist with financial reporting and management reporting
• Support annual audits and provide documentation to external auditors
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives

Education
