Job summary

HUB International seeks an Account Executive for Proper Insurance to build an exclusive book of business in an assigned territory. You will earn commissions on new and renewing policies and manage relationships with property managers and real estate professionals.

Base activities include educating clients on gaps in standard policies and coordinating with underwriting to meet program guidelines, driving growth in a fast-evolving market.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty Insurance License required before start date; licensing cost covered if not yet licensed.
• Experience in sales or customer service, ideally in insurance, real estate, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex products clearly.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
• Proficient with MS Office; comfortable with CRM platforms and communication tools.
• Collaborative, coachable mindset focused on client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sales cycle from first contact through close, with follow-up cadences and CRM documentation.
• Educate prospective clients on gaps in traditional policies and present Proper’s STR solution.
• Coordinate with underwriting to ensure submissions meet program guidelines and risk quality.
• Grow a book of business across new and renewing policies with ops and support teams.
• Develop territory presence through outreach to property managers and real estate pros.
• Respond to inquiries by phone and email with urgency.
