As the data-driven Growth Marketing Strategist, you will play a pivotal role and wear two critical hats within the Growth Marketing & Sales Organization:
- Lead strategic planning, robust analytics, and forecasting in support of the Growth team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a data expert, and a strong communicator, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights and executive presentations.
- Lead one of our top strategic priorities to diversify and scale our media programs, including ongoing optimization and media mix allocation within core channels (e.g., Meta, Paid Search, TikTok) and exploring new media channels for experimentation.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess a strong blend of marketing acumen, digital media proficiency, analytical expertise, and strategic thinking.
- Have demonstrated experience growing businesses and marketing programs at scale.
- Combine analytical and data-proficient skills with a deep understanding of digital marketing across various channels.
- Experience with digital/e-commerce and human-led, lead-based sales funnels.
Responsibilities:
Growth Business Forecasting & Data Analysis:
- Lead quarterly/annual forecast development for the Growth Marketing and Sales organization, collaborating with channel leads, and responsible for executive presentations and alignment.
- Oversee macro growth performance for top-line KPIs such as CAC, RAC, ARPC, and customer acquisition targets, ensuring forecast attainment.
- Manage daily governance of full-funnel metrics, from top-of-funnel media and site activity to bottom-of-funnel sales trends, identifying optimization opportunities and driving actions.
- Collaborate with data engineering, business operations, and data science teams to develop data queries, dashboards, and data-first tools.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to extract actionable insights, influencing leadership decisions for channel optimization.
- Balance priorities and budget allocation across sources to meet growth targets within CAC & RAC goals.
Growth Media Strategist:
- Develop and execute quarterly strategic media plans to diversify and scale media presence with a rapid test, optimize, and scale or fail approach.
- Provide thought leadership on platform selection, media mix, audience targeting, and creative strategies to enhance performance.
- Identify key target audiences and optimal channels, especially considering evolving privacy regulations and financial-service restrictions.
- Partner with media planning/buying agencies and content teams to develop campaigns and creative assets.
- Implement initiatives to tailor user experiences and optimize user journeys based on intent analysis.
- Conduct customer segmentation and cohort analysis to understand behavior and tailor marketing efforts.
Thought Leadership and Communication:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data-driven marketing.
- Identify new growth opportunities and emerging trends.
- Research and apply industry insights to improve media and funnel performance.
Requirements:
- Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including AI-powered tools and automation.
- Proven expertise with digital media platforms: Meta, TikTok, Paid Search, Digital Video/CTV; experience with LinkedIn, Reddit, and emerging platforms is a plus.
- Experience with landing page optimization for paid campaigns and CRO best practices.
- Skill in analyzing multi-platform data using tools like Google Analytics, Salesforce, BigQuery, and BI tools.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships for omnichannel marketing programs.
- Strong organizational, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
- Experience with digital and human sales funnels.
Benefits:
- Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 base + bonus + equity, based on experience and skills. Feel free to discuss if you believe the range is off.
