We’re looking for a thoughtful and detail-oriented eCommerce Strategist to join our Strategy team. This individual contributor role focuses on uncovering insights through data, supporting cross-functional teams, and helping our clients grow and optimize their businesses within the Shopify ecosystem. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in e-commerce analytics and digital strategy, eager to learn and collaborate with senior strategists, UX, Design, and Tech teams.

Responsibilities
  • Execute strategic deliverables across client accounts, including qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.
  • Analyze web performance and behavioral data using tools like GA4 and Shopify to identify actionable insights.
  • Support the creation of strategic recommendations using pre-built deck templates, clearly communicating data and insights to clients.
  • Identify performance trends and opportunities through client reporting and internal reviews.
  • Collaborate with senior strategists and team leads on broader strategic planning.
  • Participate in customer research activities such as surveys, interviews, user testing, and persona development.
  • Contribute data-backed inputs to roadmap planning and prioritization exercises.
  • Support ad hoc initiatives like competitive audits, CRO analyses, and site evaluations.
  • Occasionally assist with light UX activities, including wireframing or providing feedback in Figma.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients by serving as a strategic partner, translating insights into meaningful growth recommendations.
Skills & Experience
  • 2–4 years in e-commerce, digital marketing, or digital strategy.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Shopify data reporting.
  • Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, with the ability to distill insights clearly.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting strategic thinking via Google Slides or PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping, conversion funnels, and ecommerce best practices.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow strategic skills and contribute to client success.
Nice to Have
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles or experience with SEO analysis.
  • Understanding of data architecture and engineering concepts, including GA4 & GTM setup, auditing, and troubleshooting, with tools like BigQuery, SQL, or Python.
  • Familiarity with UX tools such as Figma, Maze, or Hotjar.
  • Experience with CRO or A/B testing methodologies and tools.
