Role Overview: As a CPA/LLM Tax Strategist, you will help clients navigate complex tax issues by reviewing and analyzing tax filings, providing expert guidance, and developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Staying current on tax legislation changes and offering insightful recommendations will be key.

Location: This role can be based in any city in the United States. Our office is in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Strategize to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with applicable laws
2. Advise clients on relevant tax issues and provide insightful recommendations
3. Analyze complex tax scenarios and offer creative solutions to mitigate risks
4. Review and analyze tax filings and related documents
5. Stay updated on industry developments in tax law and legislation
6. Collaborate with the team to meet client deliverables
7. Educate clients on tax issues and options, presenting solutions effectively

Be able to present solutions and close clients on our unique products.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

• CPA certification and a master's degree in Taxation or an LLM in Taxation from an accredited institution
• 10+ years of experience in public accounting or a law firm specializing in tax law
• Deep understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes
• Proficiency in tax research, analysis, and planning strategies
• Strong communication skills to explain complex tax issues to clients
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to change
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

Compensation:

$100,000 to $350,000 annually plus bonuses. Compensation will be discussed during the interview and based on experience.
