Job summary

NWN is seeking a Sr. Director of Marketing in a remote U.S. role with Boston-area presence.

Lead a comprehensive marketing growth engine spanning product marketing, ops and performance marketing to expand existing relationships, win new logos, and collaborate with strategic partners. The role requires 8+ years in marketing, 5+ years leading marketing teams, and strong experience with ABM, analytics, and enterprise sales alignment.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive marketing experience, with growth/demand generation leadership.
• Five+ years leading marketing professionals and teams.
• Senior B2B marketing leadership in enterprise tech or complex solutions.
• Ability to turn technical offerings into customer stories for sales enablement.
• Experience partnering with enterprise sales and ABM programs.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate ROI, budgets, and program effectiveness.
• Familiarity with marketing automation, GEO platforms, and CRM-connected processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CMO and executive team to drive strategic marketing initiatives.
• Lead Product Marketing, Marketing Operations and Intelligence, and Performance Marketing as an integrated growth engine.
• Provide leadership and development for marketing leaders and teams.
• Build awareness of NWN brand, messaging, and enablement with sales and partners.
• Develop customer-centric programs for expansion, new-logo acquisition, and partner-led growth.
• Drive website traffic and digital engagement across paid, social, and content channels.
• Oversee lead generation programs using account- and buying-group insights.
• Set marketing goals, metrics, and content strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Guide marketing operations and technology (website, Marketo, Demandbase, 6sense) to improve data and reporting.
• Adopt AI tools to optimize processes and collaboration.
• Comply with policies and standards.
• Demonstrate comfort adopting emerging AI technologies.
