Job description

GoodParty.org is looking for an innovative Growth Marketer (Contractor) with 3+ years experience who’s ready to run experiments and build a learning machine to disrupt the status quo in American politics. This is a 20 hours per week contract position, with potential for increased hours.

GoodParty.org is on a mission to make people matter more than money in our democracy by empowering independent candidates to run, win, and serve. Our AI-powered platform provides free tools to independent candidates to run their campaigns, connect with voters, and serve their communities effectively.

A majority of eligible voters, including more than half of Millennials and Gen Z, say that neither Republicans nor Democrats represent them. GoodParty.org is the solution. With 3,444 independent candidate wins across 48 states last year, these elected officials come from across the ideological spectrum. They prioritize people over parties and community over corporate interests. In 2024, 40.3 million voters (26% of all voters) cast a ballot for our candidates. We’re not a political party, we’re a platform and a movement.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Farhad Mohit ($1B+ in exits, including Flipagram/TikTok and Shopzilla), GoodParty.org is building solutions so we can have a truly representative democracy where society’s biggest problems are solved.

What you’ll do:
  1. Develop and execute agile demand generation campaigns to expand GoodParty.org’s audience.
  2. Identify and test new channels to attract empowered candidates, community members, and subscribers.
  3. Collaborate with the design team to optimize landing pages and marketing assets, refining user journeys for growth.
  4. Conduct multivariate ad testing, optimizing messaging and creatives based on data-driven insights.
  5. Track and report key performance metrics, transparently sharing successes, failures, and learnings.
  6. Manage HubSpot marketing operations, including campaigns, automation, and data integrity.
  7. Maintain and improve analytics infrastructure across Google Analytics, Looker/BigQuery, VWO, and HubSpot.
  8. Work closely with the Social Media Manager and Content Marketing Coordinator to align campaigns.
  9. Learn from and collaborate with the Director of Marketing, gaining mentorship in B2B growth strategies.
Who We’re Looking For:
  1. Passionate about transforming democracy and excited for the challenge.
  2. Experienced in AI-driven marketing strategies, automation, and growth.
  3. Proficient in HubSpot campaign management and marketing automation.
  4. Data-driven growth marketer with an experimental mindset and analytical skills.
  5. At least 3 years of experience in growth marketing for a B2C brand (or equivalent startup experience).
  6. Background in a quantitative field (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  7. Proven ability to market from scratch, pivot quickly, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  8. Advanced user of analytics tools like Google Analytics, VWO, and Looker/BigQuery.
  9. Highly organized, methodical, and able to track and document campaign performance.
  10. You have a background working with large datasets and doing advanced statistics.
  11. You’ve got experience studying, working, or volunteering in politics, civics, or democracy reform.
  12. You’re sick of sitting on the sidelines watching our democracy fail to meet its potential.

The pay rate for this remote contractor position is $33.50-$52.50/hour. This is a 20 hour per week contract position, with potential for additional hours based on performance. This range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The hourly rate will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, seniority, education, qualifications, certifications, and organizational needs. We reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time.
