Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Lead Guide in the United States to coach Guides, develop leaders, and create an environment where students consistently exceed expectations. This role focuses on culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across campuses.

You will build a team, lead life skills workshops, and motivate students toward ambitious learning goals within a data-driven, high-standard school model. Strong leadership and change-management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred for this leadership role.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in self-directed programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence and accountability.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field

Master's degree preferred
