Job summary

Forterra is seeking Growth Leads to own portfolios at the intersection of autonomous mission systems and Army capability gaps. You will own the customer strategy, build the pipeline, and lead capture from first conversations to contract, with Huntsville-based work and monthly Washington travel.

Role requires deep Army domain familiarity, strong leadership, and the ability to drive opportunities end-to-end in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years of relevant Army operations, requirements, acquisition, program offices, or defense industry experience.
• Willingness to personally drive capture: shaping, stakeholder mapping, proposals, and close.
• Technical fluency to engage credibly on autonomy, robotics, vehicles, C2, sensors, effectors, networking, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the portfolio: drive a pipeline, plan growth, and expand the pipeline.
• Shape demand with operators, owners, capability developers, and program offices.
• Run capture: build capture strategies, stakeholder maps, plans, and win themes; lead a cross-functional team.
• Translate tactical problems into acquisition and capture strategies and engage senior stakeholders.
