Forterra is seeking a Hardware Engineer to direct hardware integration for autonomous ground vehicle programs within the Emerging Technologies team. You will own hardware architecture, manage cross‑disciplinary execution, and drive payload integration from concept through delivery, interfacing with government customers and internal partners.

This hands-on leadership role requires system-level thinking, judgment under pressure, and collaboration to ensure safety, cybersecurity, and mission

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechatronics, Robotics, Aerospace).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in systems integration, robotics, or autonomous vehicles.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate hardware development lifecycle for integrated vehicle systems and payload integration.
• Define and own hardware system architecture and interfaces for programs.
• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering execution (electrical, mechanical, systems).
• Manage risks and ensure milestones and delivery dates are met.
• Interface with government customers and internal teams to deliver a fully integrated system.
