Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to blend business strategy, operations and people leadership in a dynamic retail environment. You will open/close the store, supervise salesfloor and stockroom, and manage staffing and payroll while driving customer service and sales.

You’ll lead training for non-management staff, maintain visual displays, analyze reports, protect assets and operate POS systems. This role supports omni-channel fulfillment and embodies Brand Values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Maintain a strong customer focus and knowledge of fashion trends.
• Drive results with a strong work ethic and effective communication.
• Ability to coach others and build the team.
• Balance multiple tasks with attention to detail and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
