Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in California to direct all store operations, drive sales, and lead a team of department managers and receivers. The role requires strong leadership, customer service focus, and rigorous adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ASM will manage inventory, pricing, and labor to meet targets, while coaching leaders and maintaining store culture. Flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age and able to lift 60 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent; business/retail degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct all store operations and drive sales and efficiency.
• Lead a team of ~10 department managers and receivers.
• Ensure safety, labeling, health, and weights and measures standards.
• Oversee inventory, pricing, and cash handling/ P&L responsibilities.
• Mentor leaders, communicate clearly, and manage escalations.
