Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Daly City to direct all store operations, lead a team of department managers and receivers, and drive sales while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The ASM will manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• Experience in retail leadership, including P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Proficiency with MS Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and HR software.

Responsibilities

• Direct all store operations in accordance with Sprouts policies and procedures.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Drive sales, improve customer experience, and manage inventory and labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, labeling, weights and measures standards.
• Oversee merchandising, pricing accuracy, promotions, and perishables and non-perishables departments.
• Hire, train, and develop leaders; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Communicate policy changes, new initiatives, and product knowledge to store teams.
