Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science, analytics, BI, or related field in consumer tech/fintech/SaaS.
• Proven track record of shaping strategy and influencing executive decision making through data.
• Experience managing data science teams is a plus.
• Experience supporting zero-to-one products, emerging business models, growth initiatives, or ambiguous problems.
• Strong expertise in experimentation, performance measurement, customer analytics, and causal or decision-oriented analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to define success metrics and learning frameworks for initiatives without benchmarks.
• Strong business acumen across customer acquisition, engagement, retention, product strategy, and operations.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
• Proficiency with AI tools & IDEs (Cursor/Claude, Langfuse/Langsmith).
• Advanced SQL proficiency and Python or R for analysis, modeling, automation.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills for crafting business narratives from complex data.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving environments.
• Ability to balance analytical rigor with speed, judgment, and pragmatic decision-making.
