Intuit, Inc. seeks a Staff Data Scientist to shape growth strategy and measurement for TurboTax-related initiatives.

You will partner with product, marketing, and operations to assess opportunities, define experiments, and translate learnings into strategic direction. Responsibilities include developing analytical frameworks, building executive dashboards, and guiding investments with data-driven narratives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science, analytics, BI, or related field.
• Proven ability to shape strategy and influence executive decisions with data.
• Experience supporting zero-to-one products, ambiguous problems, or growth initiatives.
• Strong expertise in experimentation, performance measurement, customer analytics, and causal/decision analysis.
• Ability to define success metrics and learning frameworks where benchmarks are not established.
• Strong business acumen across customer acquisition, engagement, retention, product strategy, and operations.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI/Looker).
• Advanced SQL; Python or R for analysis, modeling, and automation.
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for data narratives.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new acquisition, engagement, and customer-growth opportunities with leaders.
• Develop measurement strategies for nascent products and programs; define indicators and milestones.
• Shape analytical and experimentation roadmaps for emerging initiatives; interpret results and guide actions.
• Build understanding of customer lifecycle to improve acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Create executive visualizations and storytelling to communicate performance and opportunities.
• Develop analytical frameworks linking signals to long-term outcomes with consistent metrics.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align hypotheses and decisions.
• Develop integrated views of the growth portfolio for leadership insights.
• Support business reviews and planning with data-driven insights.
• Mentor other data scientists and analysts to raise the team's analytics maturity.
