Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Sr Staff Data Scientist for the TurboTax growth portfolio in Mountain View. You will lead analytical frameworks across end-to-end customer journeys, partnering with Product, Marketing, Expert Services, and Operations to drive engagement and growth.

You will define measurement strategies for nascent products, shape experimentation roadmaps, and translate data into strategic direction for executive leadership. Strong storytelling and visualization skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, business intelligence, or related field.
• Proven track record of shaping strategy and influencing executive decisions through data.
• Experience managing data science teams is a plus.
• Experience supporting zero-to-one products, emerging business models or growth initiatives.
• Strong expertise in experimentation, performance measurement, and causal/decision-oriented analysis.
• Ability to define success metrics and learning frameworks for initiatives without benchmarks.
• Strong business acumen across customer acquisition, engagement, retention, product strategy, and operations.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Ability to balance analytical rigor with speed and pragmatic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new customer and expert platform opportunities.
• Translate signals into strategic recommendations and measures of success.
• Develop measurement roadmaps for nascent products and programs.
• Shape analytics roadmaps and guide experiments for emerging initiatives.
• Build lifecycle intelligence across acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Create executive-facing visualizations and storytelling to enable decisions.
• Develop scalable performance frameworks and consistent metrics.
• Influence cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, Expert Services, and Operations.
• Provide integrated views of the growth portfolio to guide resource allocation.
• Support business reviews and planning with analytic insights.
• Mentor other data scientists and analysts on best practices.
