New Balance in Merrimack, NH is hiring Retail Sales Associates for our stores. You will deliver exceptional customer service, educate customers on NB products, and assist with fitting and closing sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires 18+, strong communication, and basic math skills, with a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays. Pay ranges from $14.30 to $21.50 hourly, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Should be a people person; retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Educate customers on product features and benefits and answer questions.
• Transact sales with suggestive selling and effective closing.
• Measure and fit customers with appropriate NB products.
• Keep the sales floor neat, organized, and well stocked.
• Ensure items are labeled and price marked properly; manage security tags.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
