Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, manage promotions, and drive profitability.

This role requires coordinating with Marketing, overseeing staff, and ensuring strong customer service and safe store conditions. You will oversee controllable costs, forecast budgets, and work with store teams to meet financial objectives while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
3-5 years of retail business experience or more preferred; including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility.
Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented.
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in use of store equipment, tools and materials.
A current valid driver’s license is required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Recaps promotional activity for store management and reports business opportunities, results, trends and competitive information.
Manages controllable costs by educating managers on procedures for controlling merchandise variation, salaries, overtime, cash, repair and maintenance costs.
Collaborates with Marketing team to ensure promotions and new product introductions are fully implemented.
Provides feedback to category managers regarding stock issues and ensures vendor product availability.
Leads and coaches store managers, including recruitment, orientation, development and performance planning.
