Patterson Companies, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to generate and grow sales through inbound and outbound calls while handling customer inquiries with professionalism and expediency.

Responsibilities include order accuracy, customer relationship management, and proactive sales engagement. Travel up to 10% in the regional area may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Exceptional customer service and organization skills are essential.
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail are required.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• General computer proficiency including MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Process orders, quotes, returns, and ensure accuracy in the order entry system.
• Maintain accurate customer and territory records; document interactions and opportunities.
• Follow Accounts Receivables policies and practices; run sales reports.
• Monitor shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and verify price/terms.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and manufacturing partners; provide timely sales support.
• Make regular outbound calls to assigned customers/territories; upsell and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Educate customers on product features to grow sales and satisfaction.
• Stay informed on consumer preferences, products, and market conditions.
